Carrots: Strengthen the spleen and aid digestion, nourish the liver and improve eyesight, clear away heat and detoxify, promote the passage of

rashes, and relieve coughs. They are used to treat malnutrition, measles, night blindness, constipation, hypertension, gastrointestinal discomfort, and flatulence. Potatoes: Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that potatoes are sweet and spicy, cold in nature, and slightly toxic. They have the benefits of nourishing the stomach, detoxifying, and alleviating hunger. Modern medical research shows that potatoes are a healthy food that is high in protein, low in fat, and low in calories, making them an ideal food for those suffering from obesity, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and diabetes.
